Esther, was working as publicist in Switzerland, decides to embark on a trip to the Marches hills, when she falls in love with an old farmhouse hidden among the countryside of the castles of Jesi, in Staffolo. From the house you can see the sea and some rows of Verdicchio and Montepulciano.
Esther and her family decide to change their lives and move permanently to Staffolo to produce wine and oil. Esther not only decides to change life, but also to “change grapes”: Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Cabernet plants. The adventure of a red wine begins in the heart of white, a real novelty in the hills of Verdicchio.
Among the surprise of many, with the work and hard work of years, Esther has managed to make two excellent wines, Il Cupo and Il Ceppo. Important, full of meaning, original.
Today Esther has a small but beautiful winery in one of the most exciting places in the Marche.
Every day among the vines, every day in the cellar, Esther is dedicated to its niche production of high quality wines.
